Time Enough for Love

by Roman Bershadsky

Subtle Ray of light - Falling
On the lonely autumn leaf - Falling,
Momentary masterpiece - Failing
To be noticed by anyone...

Thousands of men - looking
At their private little hell - looking
Past ordinary miracles - lacking
Ability to grasp - beauty.

We're out of reach, out of touch,
Out of our little minds.
Whatever we’ve lost,
We still have time enough for love.

Tapestry of life - fading
In the snowstorm above - flaking.
The innocence of white - faking
The wisdom no one knows.

Choir of silent screams - singing.
Can you hear the only voice - swinging?
Will you find it in the dark - seeking?
Are you wise enough to find
Time enough for love.

We're out of reach, out of touch,
Out of our little minds.
Whatever we’ve lost,
We still have time enough for love.
