It's Over

by Roman Bershadsky

Everywhere I go, it seems like same old town, the same old people.
And everywhere I look, it looks like same old frame, the same old picture.
I don’t know where I’m from, I don’t know where I’m going.
Whatever happened to the sense of being right, the sense of flying high?

Ah-ah, now it’s over, I know...
Ah-ah-ah-ah, yes it’s over, for now...

I try to talk to friends and all I see is faces out of focus.
Things I knew before are changing shape and fade to gray so fast it scares me.
Or it’s the way I feel, it doesn’t seem the same affection.
The things are not so great, I think I need some help, I seem to lose direction.

Ah-ah, now it’s over, I know...
Ah-ah-ah-ah, yes it’s over, for now...

I wander off and lose myself in empty streets of ancient cities.
I look into the eyes of ghosts, they speak to me, but I can’t hear them.
Time is slipping by like sand between my fingers,
You’re the only one among the billion souls to help me feel alive!

Ah-ah, now it’s over, I know...
Ah-ah-ah-ah, yes it’s over, for now...
